    Minutes Clerk Jennifer L. Timms led the House in  the  Pledge  of
Allegiance.


                   TEMPORARY COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS

    The   Speaker   announced   the   following  temporary  committee
assignments:
    Representative Skinner will replace Representative Lawfer in  the
Committee on Environment & Energy, for today only.
    Representative Poe replaced Representative Osmond, Representative
Klingler  replaced  Representative  Righter,  and Representative Bill
Mitchell  replaced  Representative  Winkel  in   the   Committee   on
Prosecutorial Misconduct on October 7, 1999.


                       VETO MOTIONS SUBMITTED

    Representative  Hamos  submitted  the  following  written motion,
which was placed on the order of Motions:

the House do now adjourn.
    The motion prevailed.
    And   in   accordance  therewith  and  pursuant  to  HOUSE  JOINT
RESOLUTION 30, the House stood adjourned until Thursday, November  4,
