Biography: Graduated from Proviso East High School; served as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes; served as a labor advocate and organizer for working families and Fight for 15 spokesperson; former executive board member for SEIU Healthcare Illinois; founded Future Fighters organization for worker rights; received the Florence Criley Award from the Chicago Coalition of Labor Women (CLW) in 2019; mother of three boys.
