| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3044

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3044 on page 2, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing lines 2 through 5 with the following:

| 4 | "wage schedule for each county in the State, no later than | ||||||
| 5 | August 15 of each year, based on the prevailing rate of wages | ||||||
| 6 | investigated and ascertained by the Department during the month | ||||||
| 7 | of June. Nothing prohibits the Department from publishing | ||||||
| 8 | prevailing wage rates more than once per year."; and
| ||||||
| 9 | on page 5, by inserting immediately below line 10 the | ||||||
| 10 | following: | ||||||
| 11 | "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 12 | becoming law.".
