2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3449 on page 1, line | ||||||
3 | 12, by replacing "location" with "the precise location"; and
| ||||||
4 | on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 22 the | ||||||
5 | following: | ||||||
6 | "(c) A private entity need not obtain a person's | ||||||
7 | affirmative express consent after the person's initial consent | ||||||
8 | as described in subsection (a) has been obtained unless the | ||||||
9 | terms previously agreed to under items (1), (2), and (3) of | ||||||
10 | subsection (a) are materially changed."; and

11 | on page 2, line 23, by changing "(c)" to "(d)"; and
| ||||||
12 | on page 2, by replacing line 25 with the following:
| ||||||
13 | "Section 15. Violation. A violation of this Act constitutes | ||||||
14 | a violation of the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business | ||||||
15 | Practices Act. Only a State's Attorney or the Attorney General |

11 | Utilities Act; or (v) a person licensed as a private detective | ||||||
12 | pursuant to the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private | ||||||
13 | Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004."; and | ||||||
14 | on page 5, by deleting lines 16 and 17.
