745 ILCS 10/2-101  from Ch. 85, par. 2-101

    Amends the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act. Provides that nothing in the Act affects the liability, if any, of a local public entity or public employee based on the Illinois Human Rights Act.

1    AN ACT concerning civil law.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Local Governmental and Governmental
5Employees Tort Immunity Act is amended by changing Section
62-101 as follows:
 
7    (745 ILCS 10/2-101)  (from Ch. 85, par. 2-101)
8    Sec. 2-101. Nothing in this Act affects the right to obtain
9relief other than damages against a local public entity or
10public employee. Nothing in this Act affects the liability, if
11any, of a local public entity or public employee, based on:
12    a contract;
13    b operation as a common carrier; and this Act does not
14apply to any entity organized under or subject to the
15"Metropolitan Transit Authority Act", approved April 12, 1945,
16as amended;
17    c The "Workers' Compensation Act", approved July 9, 1951,
18as heretofore or hereafter amended;
19    d The "Workers' Occupational Diseases Act", approved July
209, 1951, as heretofore or hereafter amended;
21    e Section 1-4-7 of the "Illinois Municipal Code", approved
22May 29, 1961, as heretofore or hereafter amended; .
23    f The "Illinois Uniform Conviction Information Act",
