2 | | WHEREAS, At the time of his passing, Sgt. Lewis was |
3 | | survived by his wife, Laurie Dugan; his son, Preston Lewis; his |

Lewis; his grandchildren, |
5 | | Lindsay, Kyle, and Amanda; his brother and sister-in-law,

6 | | Kenneth and Becky Lewis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, |
7 | | nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
9 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE SENATE |
10 | | CONCURRING HEREIN, that we designate the Armor Road Overpass in |
11 | | the City of Bradley as the "Sgt. Wilford Ray "Wil" Lewis |
12 | | Memorial Overpass"; and be it further |
13 | | RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Transportation |
14 | | is requested to erect at suitable locations,
consistent with |
15 | | State and federal regulations, appropriate plaques or signs |
16 | | giving notice of the name of
the "Sgt. Wilford Ray "Wil" Lewis |
17 | | Memorial Overpass"; and be it further

18 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
19 | | presented to the Secretary of Transportation, the Mayor of the |
20 | | City of Bradley, Chief Michael T. Johnston of the
Bradley |
21 | | Police Department, and the family of Sgt. Lewis.
