2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Stanlee | ||||||
4 | G. Erlinger of Belleville, who passed away on December 24, | ||||||
5 | 2017; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Stanlee Erlinger was born in Belleville to John A. | ||||||
7 | and Minnie (Henry) Erlinger on September 27, 1943; he served in | ||||||
8 | the construction battalion division of the United States Navy | ||||||
9 | in Vietnam; he was honorably discharged in 1974; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Stanlee Erlinger was a master craftsman; he owned | ||||||
11 | and operated a construction company and provided carpentry and | ||||||
12 | crane work to the community for over 20 years; he also worked | ||||||
13 | as a building inspector for the city of Belleville; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Stanlee Erlinger served as an active member of the | ||||||
15 | Northwest St. Clair County Fire Department for more than 50 | ||||||
16 | years; he was Chief Engineer and President of Northwest | ||||||
17 | Firefighters Association; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Stanlee Erlinger was a Master Mason and a lifetime | ||||||
19 | member of the St. Clair Lodge No. 24 in Belleville; he was a | ||||||
20 | noble of the mystic Shrine and Ainad Temple for 50 years; he | ||||||
21 | was generous with his time and talents and always willing to |

1 | help out anytime, day or night; and
| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, Stanlee Erlinger was preceded in death by his | ||||||
3 | parents; and his brother, John D. "Jack" Erlinger; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, Stanlee Erlinger is survived by his wife, Lynn | ||||||
5 | (Bowen) Erlinger; his daughters, Ashlee Erlinger (Jason) | ||||||
6 | Felmey, Chelsea (Derek) Lewis, and Andria (Brent) Oest; his | ||||||
7 | granddaughter, Brynlee Allyn Oest; his brother, Russell | ||||||
8 | Erlinger; his friends, Tom, Bob, Harold, Kenny, Chester, Mike, | ||||||
9 | Mark, and Greg; and his many other compadres, including his | ||||||
10 | horses and dogs; therefore, be it

11 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
12 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
13 | mourn the passing of Stanlee G. Erlinger and extend our sincere | ||||||
14 | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
15 | him; and be it further

17 | presented to the family of Stanlee Erlinger as an expression of | ||||||
