3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Franklin |
4 | | B. Coffman, who passed away on January 30, 2018 in his home |
5 | | with his family by his side; and

6 | | WHEREAS, Frank Coffman was born in Plano to Herman Glenn |
7 | | and Martha
(Brooks) Coffman Sr. on April 21, 1933; he served in |
8 | | the Korean War and was married to the former Miss Elaine Plante |
9 | | for 57 happy years; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Frank Coffman was a loving husband, father, |
11 | | grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be greatly
missed by |
12 | | his friends and family; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, Frank Coffman was the Secretary and Treasurer at |
14 | | Coffman Brothers' Trucks Sales, a former Kendall
County Board |
15 | | Chairman, the Liquor Commissioner of Kendall County, a member |
16 | | of the Sunbeam
Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #428 in Plano, a |
17 | | lifelong supporter of the NRA, and a member of the Loyal Order
|
18 | | of Moose Lodge 1016 in Sandwich; and |
19 | | WHEREAS, Frank Coffman was a proud member of the Royal |
20 | | Order of Racoons Fishing Team and was affectionately known as |
21 | | "Father Frank" to his colleagues at the Tiger Musky Resort in |

1 | | Couderay, Wisconsin; he always had a smile and a joke for his |
2 | | fishing buddies, which included his son, his sons-in-law, and |
3 | | most notably, his grandsons, Nick and Kal; and

4 | | WHEREAS, Frank Coffman was preceded in death by his |
5 | | parents; his brothers,
Herman "Glenn" Coffman and Erwin "Win" |
6 | | Coffman; and his sisters, Devonna "Bonnie" Thompson and Zada
|
7 | | Pekoe; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Frank Coffman is survived by his wife, Elaine |
9 | | Coffman; his children, Shellie (Williams) Hollis, Kristina |
10 | | (Michael) Mayer, and Terrence (Nicole) Coffman; his
|
11 | | grandchildren, Nicholas Hollis, Joseph Mayer, Sember Hollis, |
12 | | Kalin Sollis, Samuel Mayer, Jacob Coffman,
Nicholas Coffman, |
13 | | Luke Coffman, and a soon to be born great-granddaughter; his |
14 | | sister, Neva Cooley; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be |
15 | | it

16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
17 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
18 | | mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Frank |
