AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1086




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1086 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Emergency Management Assistance Compact 
5Act is amended  by changing Section 10 as follows:
 
6    (45 ILCS 151/10)
7    Sec. 10. Reimbursements and expenses. The Illinois 
8Emergency Management Agency as the authorized representative 
9of the State may use the Disaster Response and Recovery Fund to 
10deposit any reimbursements received from a party state and to 
11pay any expenses incurred relating to this Act. 

12    Upon the request for and acceptance of assistance of the 
13Illinois National Guard by a party state, the Governor may 
14identify available funds and request that the Comptroller shall 
15direct and the Treasurer shall transfer those funds as needed 
16to the Illinois National Guard State Active Duty Fund in order

1to support the salaries and costs of soldiers on Illinois State 
2Active Duty status. Upon the receipt of reimbursement from the 
3party state or any other source, the Illinois Emergency 
4Management Agency shall reimburse the Illinois National Guard 
5State Active Duty Fund in accordance with Section 56-2 of the 
6Military Code of Illinois and shall request that the 
7Comptroller shall direct and the Treasurer shall transfer 
8monies in amounts necessary to reimburse any other funds from 
9which monies were transferred to support the salaries and costs 
10of soldiers on Illinois State Active Duty status.
