2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1103 by replacing |
3 | | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4 | | "Section 5. The Director of the Department of Natural |
5 | | Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to |
6 | | exchange the interest in a certain scenic easement in Scott |
7 | | County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as Parcel 1, in |
8 | | exchange for consideration of replacement property rights of |
9 | | equal or greater value in Scott County, Illinois, hereinafter |
10 | | referred to as Parcel 2, such Parcels being described as |
11 | | follows: |
12 | | PARCEL 1: |
13 | | All that part of the South Half of Section 34, Township 15 |
14 | | North, Range 14 West of the Third Principal Meridian in |
15 | | Scott County, Illinois, bounded as follows: on the North by |
16 | | the Southerly right of way line of the Norfolk and Western |
17 | | Railway Company; on the West by the Easterly bank of the |

7 | | Section 10. This transaction is deemed to be to the mutual |
8 | | advantage of both parties, and each party shall be responsible |
9 | | for any and all title costs associated with that party's |
10 | | respective properties. |
11 | | Section 15. The conveyance of Parcel 1 and the acceptance |
12 | | of Parcel 2 as authorized by Section 5 shall be made subject |
13 | | to: existing public utilities, existing public roads, and any |
14 | | and all reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and |
15 | | restrictions of record. |
16 | | Section 20. The Director of Natural Resources shall obtain |
17 | | a certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the |
18 | | title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the appropriate |
19 | | Section or Sections containing the land descriptions of the |
20 | | property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after |
21 | | its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required by |
22 | | the Section or Sections, if any payment is required, shall |
23 | | record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the |
