AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1103

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1103 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Director of the Department of Natural
5Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to
6exchange the interest in a certain scenic easement in Scott
7County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as Parcel 1, in
8exchange for consideration of replacement property rights of
9equal or greater value in Scott County, Illinois, hereinafter
10referred to as Parcel 2, such Parcels being described as
11follows:
12    PARCEL 1:
13    All that part of the South Half of Section 34, Township 15
14    North, Range 14 West of the Third Principal Meridian in
15    Scott County, Illinois, bounded as follows: on the North by
16    the Southerly right of way line of the Norfolk and Western
17    Railway Company; on the West by the Easterly bank of the

1    Illinois River, including any riparian rights or
2    accretions thereto; on the East by the centerline of the
3    top of the levee along the Easterly bank of the Illinois

7    West Half (W1/2) of Section 26, all in Township Fifteen
8    (15) North, Range Fourteen (14) West of the Third Principal
9    Meridian, Scott County, Illinois, being more particularly

7    Section 10. This transaction is deemed to be to the mutual
8advantage of both parties, and each party shall be responsible
9for any and all title costs associated with that party's
10respective properties.
 
11    Section 15. The conveyance of Parcel 1 and the acceptance
12of Parcel 2 as authorized by Section 5 shall be made subject
13to: existing public utilities, existing public roads, and any
14and all reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and
15restrictions of record.
 
16    Section 20. The Director of Natural Resources shall obtain
17a certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
18title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the appropriate
19Section or Sections containing the land descriptions of the
20property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after
21its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required by
22the Section or Sections, if any payment is required, shall
23record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the

2    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
3becoming law.".
