1 | | AN ACT concerning government.
|
2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. If and only if Senate Bill 2834 and Senate Bill |
5 | | 3023 as amended by Senate Amendment No. 1 of the 100th General |
6 | | Assembly becomes law, then the Community-Law Enforcement |
7 | | Partnership for Deflection and Substance Use Disorder |
8 | | Treatment Act is amended by changing Section 25 as follows: |
9 | | (S.B. 3023, 100th G.A., Sec. 25)

10 | | Sec. 25. Reporting and evaluation. |
11 | | The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, in |
12 | | conjunction with an association representing police chiefs and |
13 | | the Department of Human Services' Division of Substance Use |
14 | | Prevention and Recovery Alcoholism and Substance Abuse , shall |
15 | | within 6 months of the effective date of this Act: |
16 | | (1) develop a set of minimum data to be collected from |
17 | | each deflection program and reported annually, beginning |
18 | | one year after the effective date of this Act, by the |
19 | | Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, |
20 | | including, but not limited to, demographic information on |
21 | | program participants, number of law enforcement encounters |
22 | | that result in a treatment referral, and time from law |
23 | | enforcement encounter to treatment engagement; |
