| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2999 on page 1, | ||||||
| 3 | line 15, after "employer.", by inserting "An employer is not | ||||||
| 4 | responsible for losses due to an employee's own negligence, | ||||||
| 5 | losses due to normal wear, or losses due to theft unless the | ||||||
| 6 | theft was a result of the employer's negligence."; and | ||||||
| 7 | on page 2, line 7, after "policy.", by inserting "If the | ||||||
| 8 | written expense reimbursement policy of an employer | ||||||
| 9 | establishes specifications or guidelines for necessary | ||||||
| 10 | expenditures, the employer is not liable under this Section for | ||||||
| 11 | the portion of the expenditure amount that exceeds the | ||||||
| 12 | specifications or guidelines of the policy.".
