| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3232

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3232 on page 2, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing lines 23 and 24 with "is enrolled in a demonstration | ||||||
| 4 | project that is not funded with general revenue funds and that | ||||||
| 5 | is intended as a bridge to self-sufficiency by offering (i)"; | ||||||
| 6 | and
| ||||||
| 7 | on page 3, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following: | ||||||
| 8 | "(a) Subject to the availability of funds provided for this | ||||||
| 9 | purpose by the federal government, local philanthropic or | ||||||
| 10 | charitable sources, or other private sources, there is created | ||||||
| 11 | a 5-year demonstration project"; and | ||||||
| 12 | on page 3, line 11, after the period, by inserting "No general | ||||||
| 13 | revenue funds may be used to fund the demonstration project | ||||||
| 14 | created under this Section."; and | ||||||
| 15 | on page 5, immediately below line 10, by inserting the | ||||||

| 1 | following: | ||||||
| 2 | "The reports to the General Assembly shall be filed with | ||||||
| 3 | the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of | ||||||
| 4 | the Senate in electronic form only, in the manner that the | ||||||
| 5 | Clerk and the Secretary shall direct.".
