SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Albert E. "Al" Dunton of Moline, who
4passed away on January 21, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Albert Dunton was born in May, Oklahoma to Virgil
6A. and Edna Grace Shaw Dunton on November 18, 1932; he served
7with the United States Army and married Virginia Arlene Wells
8at Fort Riley, Kansas on July 31, 1953; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Albert Dunton retired on May 1, 1992 after 40
10years of service with John Deere Plow and Planter Works as an
11inspection special investigator; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Albert Dunton was a member of Masonic Lodge 1014
13AF & AM, where he was a Master Mason; he was a member of the
14Scottish Rite and the coordinator of Bodies Valley of Moline;
15he enjoyed reading Westerns; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Albert Dunton was preceded in death by his
17parents; his daughter, Scheryl; his sisters, Helen Newton, and
18Wilma Lea Braden; and his brother, Lloyd Dunton; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Albert Dunton is survived by his wife, Virginia;
20his daughters, Larene Paul, Belinda Mangelsdorf, and Lisa

1Feliksiak; his son, John Dunton; his grandchildren, Jesse,
2Jason, Stephanie, Ben, Rebecca, Melissa, and Nicholas; 14
3great-grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Virginia Dunton;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Albert E. "Al" Dunton, and extend our sincere condolences to
8his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Albert Dunton as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
