SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Rafael D. Castillo of Streator, who 
4passed away on February 19, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo was born in Juarez, Mexico to 
6Rafael and Celia Castillo on January 7, 1954; he married Elba 
7Carrillo in Juarez on July 24, 1974; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo retired from Plymouth Tube after 
9over 30 years of service; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo was a member of St. Michael the 
11Arch Angel Church in Streator; he was a jack of all trades, 
12especially when it came to working on houses and cars; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo was preceded in death by his 
14parents and his  son, Daniel Castillo; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Rafael Castillo is survived by his wife, Elba; his  
16sons, Rafael Jr. and Eric (Kelli); his  grandchildren, Austin 
17and Lainie; two brothers; four sisters; and his beloved dog, 
18Rocky; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Rafael D. Castillo, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Rafael Castillo as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
