SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Philip N. "Phil" Mosley of East Moline,
4who passed away on April 8, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Philip Mosley was born in Centerville, Iowa to
6LeRoy and Clara Watts Mosley on January 24, 1950; he was a
7graduate of Alleman High School Class of 1968; he served in the
8United States Army during the Vietnam War and married Patricia
9Herrera in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on November
1011, 1972; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Philip Mosley worked at East Moline Metal and
12retired from McLaughlin Body in 2013 after 30 years of service;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Philip Mosley loved animals; he enjoyed fishing,
15and shooting pics with the guys on the pic league; he loved his
16family and especially enjoyed spending time with his
17grandchildren; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Philip Mosley was preceded in death by his parents
19and his sister, Bonnie Motley; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Philip Mosley is survived by his wife of 44 years,

1Pat Mosley; his sons, Bryan (Sara) Mosley, Kevin Mosley, and
2Greg (Beth) Mosley; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Philip Mosley
3and Aubrey Mosley; his siblings, Dennis Mosley, Dwight (Pennie)
4Mosley, and Toni Henseler; and his granddog, Oliver; therefore,
5be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Philip N. "Phil" Mosley;, and extend our sincere condolences to
9his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Philip Mosley as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
