SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Patrice A. "Pat" Meyers of Edwardsville,
4who passed away on April 12, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Patrice Meyers was born in Staunton on May 21,
61963; she married R. Scott Myers at Trinity Lutheran Church in
7Worden on April 11, 1992; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Patrice Meyers worked at Madison County Title in
9Edwardsville for 25 years; she was employed with Goldenberg
10Heller & Antognoli, P.C. in Edwardsville; she worked as a legal
11administrator for ten dedicated years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Patrice Meyers was a lifelong and faithful member
13of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden; she was a devoted mother
14who was always a part of daily lives and activities of her
15daughters, and she enjoyed supporting the Edwardsville
16Cheerleaders; she always loved her vacations, especially her
17visits to Walt Disney World; she will be remembered for the
18love and special times shared with her entire family and many
19friends; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Patrice Meyers was preceded in death by her
21mother, Lois (Brakhane) Blotevogel; and

1    WHEREAS, Patrice Meyers is survived by her husband; her
2daughters, Lisa A. Myers and Ashley K. Myers; her father and
3stepmother, Vernon and Barb Blotevogel; her brother, Tom
4(Sondra) Blotevogel; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Deb
5and Kerry Myers-Gaultney; her mother and father-in-law,
6Jacqueline K. and Richard E. Meyers; her nephews, Richard,
7Kyle, Billi, Justin, Zachary, and Frederick Blotevogel; her
8nieces, Jamey Criswell and Kristin Gaultney; and other extended
9family and friends; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Patrice A. "Pat" Meyers, and extend our sincere condolences to
13her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Patrice Meyers and the management
17and staff of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C. in
18Edwardsville as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
