SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Grant R. Rupp of Andalusia, who passed
4away on August 7, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Grant Rupp was born in Quincy to Herbert and
6Gladys Davis Rupp on November 19, 1942; he served in the United
7States Navy and married Connie Hoyt in Quincy on August 1,
81969; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Grant Rupp worked as a pattern maker for various
10shops around the Quad Cities; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Grant Rupp enjoyed golfing, watching his
12granddaughters play sports, and spending time with his family;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Grant Rupp was preceded in death by his parents;
15his daughter, Jana Kinder; and his brothers, Nicholas and
16Douglas Rupp; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Grant Rupp is survived by his wife; his son,
18Jeffrey (Kristine) Rupp; his daughter, Kelly Rupp; his
19granddaughters, Jaryn and Justice Kinder; and his sisters,
20Charlotte (Fred) Maurer and Deborah (Kenneth) Kacirek;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Grant R. Rupp, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Grant Rupp as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
