SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Carl G. Schneekloth of Rock Island, who
4passed away on November 13, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth was born in Luverne, Minnesota to
6Henry and Mildred (Alsman) Schneekloth on January 11, 1930; he
7served in the U.S. Army National Guard for three years; he
8married Audrey Hicks with whom he had two children; he later
9married Linda Martin in Silvis on July 2, 1964; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth worked as tool and die maker at
11John Deere; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth was a member of the Cornerstone
13Christian Church in Moline; he was an avid sports fan,
14specifically of the Moline Maroons and Chicago Cubs; he never
15met a stranger and he loved to talk to anyone and had many
16friends; he was also proud to be an active member of the Camden
17Serenity Group of AA; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth was preceded in death by his
19parents; his daughter, Susan Schneekloth; his sister, Joan
20Canfield; his brother, Dennis Schneekloth; and his aunt and
21uncle, Anne and Ray Sayer; and

1    WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth is survived by his wife, Linda;
2his children, Steven Schneekloth, Tammy (Chris) Cox, and Gina
3Rouse; his grandchildren, Renee Schneekloth, Ashley Hayes,
4Jacob Schneekloth, Emma Schneekloth, Mallory Bowling, Hayley
5Bowling, and Savanah Rouse; four great-grandchildren,
6including Madelynn Rose Hayes; his sister, Mary Sandler; and
7several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Carl G. Schneekloth, and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Carl Schneekloth as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
