SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Larry F. Love of Rock Island, who passed 
4away on November 5, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Love was born to Archie and Martha Ringer on 
6December 11, 1937; he graduated from Arcola High School and the 
7Worsham College of Mortuary Science; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Larry Love was a veteran of the United States 
9Navy; during his military service, he was a hospitalman and 
10Fleet Marine Force corpsman with the First Marine Division; he 
11was a funeral director for over 50 years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Larry Love was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs 
13and the Chicago Bears; he was an avid golfer and fisherman; he 
14was well loved and will be greatly missed; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Larry Love was preceded in death by his daughter, 
16Mary Louise; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Larry Love is survived by his wife, Louise; his 
18children, Michelle (Clint) and Michael (Michelle); and his 
19grandchildren, Hannah, Stella, and Sophia Love; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Larry F. Love and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Larry Love as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
