SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ronald H. Brown of Milan, who passed away
4on November 18, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Brown was born in Peoria to Betty Diehl on
6January 27, 1941; he was a veteran of the United States Navy;
7he married Jacqueline M. Maskovich in Reno, Nevada on January
814, 1961; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ronald Brown worked as a heavy machine operator
10for Moline Consumer Co-General Sand and Gravel, Milan for 33
11years; he was a member of the International Union of Operation
12Engineers, Local 150; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ronald Brown was a proud union man; he was an avid
14fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Beatles; he enjoyed
15crossword puzzles; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Ronald Brown was preceded in death by his wife,
17Jacqueline; and his mother; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Ronald Brown is survived by his children, Todd
19(Teresa) Brown, Lora Parmentier, Darcy Lievens, and Derek
20Brown; his 14 grandchildren; and his two great-grandchildren;

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Ronald H. Brown and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Ronald Brown as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
