SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Harold D. Fisher of Rock Island, who
4passed away on December 9, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Fisher was born in Phillipsburg, Missouri
6to Warren and Ora Haugh Fisher on January 4, 1926; he served in
7the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army during World War
8II, earning two Bronze Stars; he married Betty Lee Moore in
9Boone County, Arkansas on May 23, 1947; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Harold Fisher was a cement finisher for Local 454;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Harold Fisher enjoyed antiques, gardening, and
13refinishing furniture; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Harold Fisher was preceded in death by his wife,
15Betty; his parents; two brothers; and three sisters; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Harold Fisher is survived by his son, Larry
17(Natalie) Fisher; his daughter, Teresa (Scott) Hershman; his
18grandchildren, Jennifer (Joseph) Purcell, Eric (Andrea) Riley,
19Chad (Andrea) Fisher, Jarrod (Carly) Fisher, Trevor (Linda)
20Fisher, and Zach Hershman; 11 great-grandchildren; and his

1sister, Bonnie Masey; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Harold D. Fisher, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Harold Fisher as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
