SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert J. Willetts of Prophetstown, who
4passed away on January 6, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was born in Kewanee to Albert and
6Myrtle Bates Willetts on October 10, 1926; he attended grade
7school in Kewanee and graduated from Kewanee High School; he
8served in the United States Army during World War II; he
9married Elaine J. Hepner in Kewanee on October 19, 1947; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was employed by John Deere; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was a member of the Prophetstown
12United Methodist Church, the Prophetstown American Legion, and
13the United Auto Workers; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was preceded in death by his wife,
15Elaine; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Robert Willetts is survived by his daughter, Dawn
17Willetts; his son, Mark Willetts; his grandchildren,
18Christopher Maloof, Lyndsey Maloof, Jodi (Billy) Alligood, and
19Aaron (Jennifer) Maloof; his nine great-grandchildren; and his
20sister, Jean Orr; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Robert J. Willetts and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Robert Willetts as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
