SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Curtis L. Tannahill of Coal Valley, who
4passed away on January 13, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota
6to Dwayne and Hazel Reynolds Tannahill on June 26, 1943; he was
7a veteran and proudly served in the United States Army; he
8married Maylouise "Missy" Frels in Moline on October 5, 1991;
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill worked as an assembler at Case IH
11in East Moline; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill was a member and steward of the
13United Auto Workers 1304; he enjoyed his yearly hunting trips
14and golfing with his good friends; he liked to be outdoors and
15enjoyed working in his yard and his fish pond; above all, he
16loved being with his family and friends; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill was preceded in death by his
18parents; and his two sisters; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Curt Tannahill is survived by his wife, Maylouise,
20his daughter, Shelly (Doug) Buller; his sons, Todd (Eileen)

1Tannahill and Troy (Susan) Tannahill; his stepdaughter,
2Jennifer (David) Schenk; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Catie,
3Samantha, Cynthia, Christopher, Ryan, and Nick; and his
4great-grandchildren, Selena and Valerina; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Curtis L. Tannahill and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Curt Tannahill as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
