SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert "Bud" Hundley of Moline, who
4passed away on March 23, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bud Hundley was born in Moline to Raymond V. and
6Darleen (Johnson) Hundley on May 9, 1931; after attending
7college, he served in the United States Army and was stationed
8in Japan during the Korean War; he married Marceline R. Finger
9on November 27, 1954; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bud Hundley was employed as a Traffic Manager at
11Buddy L Toy Company; he then managed three Dairy Queen
12locations; he also managed and maintained several apartments
13and painted many houses in the area; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bud Hundley was a member of Trinity Lutheran
15church in Moline and the Elks Club; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bud Hundley was preceded in death by his wife,
17Marceline; his parents; his brother, Richard; and his
18sister-in-law, Dorothy; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Bud Hundley is survived by his daughter, Roma
20Hundley; his son, Raymond E. Hundley; his grandson, Evan

1Hundley; and his faithful dog, Mr. Pugs; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Robert "Bud" Hundley and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Bud Hundley as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
