SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William H. "Bill" Teichman of East
4Moline, who passed away on May 1, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Teichman was born in Aledo to Victor and Ruth
6Kindelsperger Teichman on November 15, 1931; he served in the
7United States Air Force during the Korean War and married
8Barbara M. Schell in Moline on July 3, 1954; he later married
9Sally Whitbeck in East Moline on May 10, 1997; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bill Teichman worked as an electrician at IBEW
11Local #145 for 64 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Bill Teichman was a member of the Korean War
13Veterans Association for 17 years and American Legion Post 227
14for 48 years; he also belonged to VFW Post 2153 and Amvets Post
15145; he was the president of the 1503rd A.T.W.; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bill Teichman was preceded in death by first wife,
17Barbara Teichman; his son, Curtis Teichman; his parents; and
18his brothers, George and Jerry Teichman; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Bill Teichman is survived by his wife, Sally; his
20son, Dennis (Linda) Teichman; his daughter, Kathy Teichman;

1Sally's children, Karen Whitbeck and Lynda Nathenson; his
2grandchildren, Amanda (Ron) Stablein, Jessica Teichman, Dwayne
3Teichman, Melissa (Ryan) Sweeney, Derek (Nikki) Teichman,
4Victoria (Stephen) Meyers, Emily Teichman, and Ryan and Justin
5Nathenson; and his great-grandchildren, Abi, Emersyn, Garrett,
6Alex, and Iris; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9William H. "Bill" Teichman, and extend our sincere condolences
10to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
11it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Bill Teichman as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
