SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kenneth E. Spidle of Milan, who passed
4away on May 27, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Spidle was born in LaBelle, Missouri to
6Thomas Spidle and Mary Shepherd on January 10, 1926; he served
7in the United States Army and was a proud World War II and
8Korean War veteran; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Kenneth Spidle was employed as a machinist at John
10Deere; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Kenneth Spidle was an avid bowler for years and
12received multiple awards; he enjoyed life and always had a
13smile for everyone; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Kenneth Spidle was preceded in death by his
15parents; his spouses, Lucille and Alice Spidle; and his
16siblings; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Kenneth Spidle is survived by his sons, Russel
18(Becky) Carlyle and Ronald (Rhonda) Carlyle; his grandson,
19Ronald (Terri) Carlyle Jr.; his great-great-granddaughter,
20Sophia Carlyle; and his many nieces, nephews, and their

1families; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Kenneth E. Spidle and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Kenneth Spidle as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
