SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frank C. Rennison Jr. of Andalusia, who
4passed away on July 6, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Rennison Jr. was born in Good Hope to Frank
6and Thelma Stewart Rennison on March 24, 1931; he was raised on
7the family farm southwest of Milan; he was a veteran of the
8United States Army and served during the Korean War; he married
9Alta Brown in the Milan United Methodist Church on January 26,
101952; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Frank Rennison Jr. was employed at the former JI
12Case in Rock Island and retired in 1988; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Frank Rennison Jr. was a member of the Andalusia
14Community Baptist Church; he enjoyed woodworking, working
15around the house and the garage, setting up Christmas lights,
16traveling, going to the Old Threshers Reunion in Mount
17Pleasant, and watching tractor pulls; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Frank Rennison Jr. was preceded in death by his
19parents; his wife, Alta; and his two sisters; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Frank Rennison Jr. is survived by his children,

1Steve Rennison, Kevin (Kris) Rennison, Cheri Rennison
2Brostrom, and Lorie (Steve) Carlson; his grandchildren, Sean
3(Lisa), Jennifer (Dave), Brandon (Kayla), Lucas, Eric (Sarah),
4Jessica (Brian), Travas (Jessica), Ashley (Jeremy), and Megan;
5and his 14 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Frank C. Rennison Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Frank Rennison Jr. as an expression
13of our deepest sympathy.
