SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frank F. Painter of East Moline, who
4passed away on September 12, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Painter was born in Geneseo to William and
6Beulah Fones Painter on August 28, 1924; he graduated from
7Geneseo High School in 1942 and served with the U.S. Army in
8England during World War II; he married Darleen M. Dupre at St.
9Malachy Catholic Church in Geneseo on April 15, 1950; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Frank Painter retired as a sales engineer from
11Bendix in Davenport, Iowa; he then worked for Pace Development
12and retired from Peco Industries through the Rock Island
13Arsenal; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Frank Painter loved spending his days walking his
15dogs, attending the YMCA, and watching the Cubs win; he loved
16animals and enjoyed feeding all the neighborhood wildlife; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Frank Painter was preceded in death by his
18parents; his wife, Darleen; his daughter, Kathleen "Kip"
19Majeski; his sisters, Gertrude, Lida, Dorothy, Boots, and
20Elnora; his brothers, Marion, Bill, James "Lefty", Art, and
21John; and his dachshunds Sam and Frank; and

1    WHEREAS, Frank Painter is survived by his children, Steven
2Painter and Therese James, and his grandchildren, Megan, Katie,
3Adam, Nathan, and Kristin; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Frank Painter and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
7friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Frank Painter as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
