SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $700,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the purpose of providing a grant to the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Midwest Region office in Chicago to establish 2 mobile tolerance education centers. Effective July 1, 2019.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The sum of $700,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the purpose of providing a grant to the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Midwest Region office in Chicago to establish 2 mobile tolerance education centers.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
