SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $20,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Chicago Zoological Society for costs associated with infrastructure improvements for the Brookfield Zoo.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2020.
