| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3462

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3462 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section | ||||||
| 5 | 27-23.13 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (105 ILCS 5/27-23.13 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 27-23.13. Hunting safety program. A school district | ||||||
| 8 | may offer its students an after-school or school program | ||||||
| 9 | consisting of a course on hunting safety. The State Board of | ||||||
| 10 | Education may prepare and make available to school boards | ||||||
| 11 | resources regarding hunting safety that may be used as | ||||||
| 12 | guidelines for the development of the program under this | ||||||
| 13 | Section.
| ||||||
| 14 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 15 | becoming law.".
