AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3469

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3469, AS AMENDED,
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No.
41, as follows:
 
5on page 92, by replacing lines 4 through 15 with the following:
 
6    "(c) When a disaster has been declared by the Governor
7under the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act that impacts
8counties representing a majority of the population of this
9State, the Illinois State Police may by rule or emergency
10rulemaking extend the expiration dates of Firearm Owner's
11Identification Cards. Any Firearm Owner's Identification Cards
12with an extended expiration date shall be deemed valid for the
13purposes of possessing, transferring, and purchasing
14ammunition and firearms, unless the person becomes subject to
15revocation or suspension under this Act."; and

1by replacing line 18 on page 96 through line 5 on page 97 with
2the following:
3    "(c) When a disaster has been declared by the Governor
4under the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act that impacts
5counties representing a majority of the population of this
6State, the Illinois State Police may by rule or emergency
7rulemaking extend the expiration dates of concealed carry
8licenses. Any concealed carry license with an extended
9expiration date shall be deemed valid for the purposes this
10Act. A concealed carry license that is renewed before its
11expiration date remains valid during this period; provided,
12that during the period of the disaster declared by the
13Governor, the concealed carry license shall remain valid even
14if the licensee has not applied for renewal of the license.".
