SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Trevor Melvin Wehner of Sheridan, who
4passed away on February 15, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner was born in Aurora to Bonnie Anliker
6Rich and Tom Wehner on April 22, 1997; he graduated from Serena
7High School in 2015 and Illinois Valley Community College in
82017, where he played baseball; he then attended Northern
9Illinois University, where he studied human resources and
10business; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner loved sports, especially baseball;
12he made many friends on every team he played on or against; he
13enjoyed Magic, League of Legends, and World of Warcraft; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner had a smile that would light up the
15room and was always ready with a silly joke or comment; he was
16fun-loving and made friends with everyone young and old; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner was preceded in death by his
18grandparents, Melvin and Milly Anliker; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner is survived by his grandparents,
20Terry Wehner, Shirley Wehner, and Rita Day; his parents and his

1stepfather, Jim; his brothers, Brian Wehner (Christie Pierce),
2Brandon Anliker, and Thomas Wehner; his sister, Stephanie
3Wehner; the love of his life, Winter Lane; his aunts and
4uncles, Carrie and Glen Kerr, Anne Wehner, and Jay and Lisa
5Wehner; and numerous cousins and friends; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Trevor Melvin Wehner and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Trevor Wehner as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
