SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary LaWeir Lochbaum of Peoria, who
4passed away on March 31, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was born in Middletown to John and
6Nellie (Allison) Anderson on June 21, 1927; she graduated from
7Manual High School; she then attended Bradley University; she
8graduated from Illinois Central College, where she earned her
9associate's degree; she married Edward "Bud" Lochbaum on June
1013, 1947; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was a revenue agent and accountant
12for the Internal Revenue Service for many years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was a lifelong member of the former
14Arcadia Avenue Presbyterian Church in Peoria; she was a former
15member of the Peoria Jubilee Business and Professional Women
16and the Daughters of the American Revolution; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum was preceded in death by her
18husband, Bud; her parents; her two stepdaughters; her stepson;
19two brothers; and two sisters; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Mary Lochbaum is survived by her stepson, Gerald

1Lochbaum; her daughters, Judy (Jon) Steffens, Kathy Dougherty,
2and Cindy (James) Janovetz; her many beloved grandchildren and
3great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Mary LaWeir Lochbaum and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Mary Lochbaum as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
