SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donna Marie (Broecker) Pucin of Lake
4Forest, who passed away on May 3, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Donna Pucin was born in Waukegan to John Broecker
6and Ruth (DeYoung) Hamlin on May 7, 1933; she graduated from
7Waukegan High School in 1951; she then attended Marquette
8University and the College of Lake County, where she received a
9degree in nursing; she married John J. Pucin on June 20, 1953;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Donna Pucin built her life around being a
12wonderful wife and mother; when her children were grown, she
13pursued a career in nursing and worked in both the hospital and
14the office setting; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Donna Pucin was an avid golfer and reader; she
16enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe or anywhere with water;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Donna Pucin was preceded in death by her parents;
19her husband, John; and her daughter, Lynne (Pucin) McCabe; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Donna Pucin is survived by her children, Diane M.

2her son-in-law, Thomas McCabe; her grandchildren, Kelley M.
3McCabe, Stephen T. (Kaitlyn) McCabe, Elizabeth J. Pucin, and
4Nicholas J. Pucin; and her brother, Jack G. (Pat) Broecker;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Donna Marie (Broecker) Pucin and extend our sincere condolences
9to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
10it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Donna Pucin as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
