SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donald Wisor of Moline, who passed away
4on February 9, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Wisor was born in Clinton, Iowa to Frances
6and Mary (Kane) Wisor on January 25, 1946; he graduated from
7Northeast High School in 1964 and was drafted into the U.S.
8Army during the Vietnam War; he was stationed in San Francisco
9as an SP5 Personnel Specialist and received an honorable
10discharge; he married Mary Glunz in Clinton on April 12, 1969;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Donald Wisor was employed by John Deere for 47
13years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald Wisor enjoyed watching and playing various
15sports, and most recently, he had a passion for playing disc
16golf; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Donald Wisor was preceded in death by his parents
18and his sister, Marion; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Donald Wisor is survived by his wife of over 50
20years, Mary; his children, John Wisor, Kirt Wisor, Lori (Brent)

1Bodkin, and Scott (Brittney); his grandchildren, Kody, Brett,
2Ashley, and Bradley; his sisters, Margaret (Larry), Joan (Jim),
3and Janice (John); his brothers, Jim (Jean), Paul (Roseanne),
4Tom (Cindy), Larry (Margaret), Jerry (Eileen), and David
5(Valerie); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Donald Wisor and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
10friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Donald Wisor as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
