2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Frank T. Panno of Pontiac, who passed |
4 | | away on June 14, 2020; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Frank Panno was born in Streator to Andrew and |
6 | | Dorothy Perschnick Panno on November 21, 1929; he graduated |
7 | | from Streator High School and served his country in the U.S. |
8 | | Air Force from 1951 to 1953; he married Mary Geraldyn Ralph in |
9 | | Odell on October 25, 1952; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Frank Panno worked as a real estate broker and |
11 | | owned and operated Panno Realty in Pontiac for 53 years; he |
12 | | co-founded the Livingston County Board of Realtors; he was the |
13 | | Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the |
14 | | Year in 1993 and the Livingston County Board of Realtors |
15 | | Realtor of the Year in 1997; he received the Realtors Emeritus |
16 | | Award in 2017; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Frank Panno was a member of St. Mary's Catholic |
18 | | Church, the Pontiac Elks Club, and the Moose Lodge; he served |
19 | | on the Pontiac City Council for over 56 years and holds the |
20 | | state record for the longest serving alderman in Illinois; and |
21 | | WHEREAS, Frank Panno was an incredibly loving father, |

1 | | grandfather, and great-grandfather; his family was his pride |
2 | | and joy, and he loved spending time with them; and
|
3 | | WHEREAS, Frank Panno was preceded in death by his wife, |
4 | | Mary; his sons, Peter, Paul, and John Panno; and his sister, |
5 | | Jean Panno; and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, Frank Panno is survived by his daughters, Sally |
7 | | (Michael) Aarons, Gina Panno, Lisa (Patrick) Martin, Amy Panno, |
8 | | and Gerry (Tom) Wheeler; his daughters-in-law, Renee Panno, |
9 | | Mary Panno, and Sue Trainor; his grandchildren, Sam Aarons, |
10 | | Nick Panno, Joe Panno, Sara (Marty) Walsh, Michael Panno, Paul |
11 | | Panno, Mark (Courtney) Panno, Maggie (Cal) Clark, Jane (Nate) |
12 | | Anderson, Peter Martin, Anna Walker, and Lucy Walker; his |
13 | | great-grandchildren, Corinne Walsh, Mira Walsh, Owen Walsh, |
14 | | Jack Walsh, Ben Panno, and Henry Panno; his brothers and |
15 | | sisters, Chuck Panno, Fred Panno, Nancy Eden, Michael Panno, |
16 | | Marcia Allen, David Panno, Andy Panno, Joe Panno, and Sam |
17 | | Panno; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
20 | | Frank T. Panno and extend our sincere condolences to his |
