SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John P. Adamski of East Moline, who
4passed away on November 23, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Adamski was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
6Frank and Philomena (Wanta) Adamski on November 18, 1932; he
7served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War
8and married Patricia Rosinski in Milwaukee on February 11,
91956; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Adamski worked as a landscape architect for
11the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at
12the Rock Island Arsenal Clock Tower until he retired; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Adamski used his gifts and talents in
14woodworking and watch repair to give back to the community; he
15enjoyed a second career working as a courtesy driver at Green
16Chevrolet until 2016; and
 
17    WHEREAS, John Adamski was preceded in death by his wife,
18Patricia, and his parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, John Adamski is survived by his children, Joan
20(Glenn) Baker and Jennifer Adamski; his granddaughters, Ashley

2great-grandsons, Drake, Ryland, and Daxson Griswold and Carter
3and Beckham Harrison; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6John P. Adamski and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of John Adamski as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
