SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $200,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to be used for a $100,000 grant to the Willing Partners Canine Education, Inc. and a $100,000 grant to K9s for Veterans, NFP, for costs associated with service dog training for veterans. Effective July 1, 2021.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $200,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to be used for a $100,000 grant to the Willing Partners Canine Education, Inc. and a $100,000 grant to K9s for Veterans, NFP, for costs associated with service dog training for veterans.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
