SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $50,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants to small businesses, with 50 or less employees, to train and hire qualifying returning citizens, as provided under the Returning Citizen Grant Program.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $50,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants to small businesses, with 50 or less employees, to train and hire qualifying returning citizens, as provided under the Returning Citizen Grant Program.
