AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5271

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5271 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    “Section 5. The amount of $6,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the City of Springfield to be used for the Teen Opportunity Zone.

    Section 10. The amount of $6,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants to the City of Springfield to be used for the North Mansion Block Development.

    Section 15. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for grants to the City of Springfield to be used for operation expenses in the Mid-Illinois Medical District.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
