SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $750,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Mental Health Screening in Schools Grant Program Fund for depression screening programs to identify students in grades 7 through 12 who are at risk of depression. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $750,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Mental Health Screening in Schools Grant Program Fund for depression screening programs to identify students in grades 7 through 12 who are at risk of depression.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
