1 | | AN ACT concerning gaming.
|
2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Gambling Act is amended by |
5 | | changing Section 20 as follows:
|
6 | | (230 ILCS 10/20) (from Ch. 120, par. 2420)
|
7 | | Sec. 20. Prohibited activities - civil penalties. Any |
8 | | person who
conducts a gambling operation without first |
9 | | obtaining a
license to do so, or who continues to conduct such |
10 | | games after revocation
of his license, or any licensee who |
11 | | conducts or allows to be
conducted any unauthorized gambling |
12 | | games on a riverboat, in a casino, or at an organization gaming |
13 | | facility where it is
authorized to conduct its gambling |
14 | | operation, in addition to
other penalties provided, shall be |
15 | | subject to a civil penalty equal to the
the
amount of gross |
16 | | receipts derived from wagering on the gambling games,
whether |
17 | | unauthorized or authorized, conducted on that day as well as
|
18 | | confiscation and forfeiture of all gambling game equipment |
19 | | used in the
conduct of unauthorized gambling games. |
