AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1103

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1103, AS AMENDED,
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
41, on page 10, by replacing lines 5 through 22 with the
5following:
 
6    "Section 7. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Act
7is amended by adding Section 7.10 as follows:
 
8    (20 ILCS 3930/7.10 new)
9    Sec. 7.10. Pilot program; residential security camera
10footage incentive. Subject to appropriation, the Authority
11shall establish a pilot program to award $100 to any
12individual who supplies video or audio footage from the
13individual's residential security camera that contributes to a
14criminal conviction. To be eligible for an award under the
15pilot program, the State's Attorney that prosecuted the
16offender must certify to the Authority that (i) the individual

1supplied video or audio footage from the individual's
2residential security camera and (ii) the video or audio
3footage supplied by the individual contributed to the criminal
4conviction of an offender. The pilot program shall terminate
5after a total of $1,000,000 has been awarded under the pilot
6program. The Authority may adopt rules to implement and
7administer the pilot program."; and
 
8on page 12, line 1, by changing "30" to "180".
