| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2433

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2433 on page 1, | ||||||
| 3 | immediately below line 18, by inserting the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "(2.10) One member who is a resident's caregiver or | ||||||
| 5 | family member; in this paragraph, "caregiver" means a | ||||||
| 6 | person who, as a result of a family relationship, either | ||||||
| 7 | voluntarily or in exchange for compensation has assumed | ||||||
| 8 | responsibility for all or a portion of the care of a | ||||||
| 9 | resident who needs assistance with activities of daily | ||||||
| 10 | living or instrumental activities of daily living;".
