    Amends the Illinois African-American Family Commission Act. Provides that the annual funding allocation for the Illinois African-American Family Commission shall be no less than $1,000,000.

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois African-American Family Commission
5Act is amended by changing Section 25 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 3903/25)
7    Sec. 25. Funding. The African-American Family Commission
8may receive funding through appropriations available for its
9purposes made to the Department on Aging, the Department of
10Children and Family Services, the Department of Commerce and
11Economic Opportunity, the Department of Corrections, the
12Department of Human Services, the Department of Healthcare and
13Family Services, the Department of Public Health, the State
14Board of Education, the Board of Higher Education, the
15Illinois Community College Board, the Department of Human
16Rights, the Capital Development Board, the Department of
17Labor, and the Department of Transportation. The Commission
18may also receive and expend funding from federal and private
19sources, including gifts, donations, and private grants. The
20annual funding allocation for the Commission shall be no less
21than $1,000,000.
