| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3145

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3145 as follows: | ||||||
| 3 | on page 2, by replacing lines 10 through 13 with the following:

| 4 | "represents for one year prior to reelection. In each | ||||||
| 5 | community college district with a population of 300,000 or | ||||||
| 6 | more inhabitants within the district, other than Community | ||||||
| 7 | College District No. 522, Community College District No. 526, | ||||||
| 8 | or a community college district subject to Article VII, and in | ||||||
| 9 | any community college district with a population under 300,000 | ||||||
| 10 | inhabitants within the district whose board has approved the | ||||||
| 11 | election of board members by trustee district under Section | ||||||
| 12 | 3-7d, each member"; and | ||||||
| 13 | on page 5, line 2, by deleting "required"; and | ||||||
| 14 | on page 5, lines 5 and 6, by replacing "each community college | ||||||
| 15 | district in this State" with "each community college district | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
