    Directs the Director of Natural Resources to convey by quitclaim deed specified property located in Franklin County to the Rend Lake Conservancy District upon payment of $673,333. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning property.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. Upon the payment by the Rend Lake Conservancy
5District of the sum of $673,333 to the State of Illinois, the
6Director of Natural Resources, on behalf of the State of
7Illinois and the Department of Natural Resources, shall convey
8to the Rend Lake Conservancy District by quitclaim deed all
9right, title, and interest of the State of Illinois and the
10Department of Natural Resources in and to the following real
11property, commonly known as the Southern Illinois Art and
12Artisans Center, situated in the Franklin County and described
13as follows:
 
14    Part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest
15    Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Nineteen (19), Township Five
16    (5) South, Range Three (3) East of the Third (3rd)
17    Principal Meridian, more particularly described as
18    follows: Beginning at a bureau of land management metal
19    marker designated as AP 42 at the Northwest corner of the
20    Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest quarter of
21    said Section 19; thence North 89°-46'-51" E along the
22    North line of said Section 19 to an iron pin on the
23    Westerly Right-of-Way of F. A. Route 126; a distance of

1    350.38 Feet; thence along a non-tangent curve concave to
2    the East having a radius of 1131.74 Feet and to which
3    beginning a radial line bears N 84°-37'-57" W; thence
4    Southeasterly 266.74 Feet along said curve through a
5    central angle of 13°-30'-14"; thence N 81°-50'-15" E to an
6    iron pin on said Right-of-Way, a distance of 15.00 Feet;
7    thence along a non-tangent curve concave to the East
8    having a radius of 1116.74 Feet and to which beginning a
9    radial line bears S 81°-51'-51" W; thence Southeasterly
10    413.72 along said curve through a central angle of
11    21°-13'-36"; thence S 89°-46'-51" W to an iron pin on the
12    West line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
13    Quarter of said Section 19, a distance of 502.58 Feet;
14    thence N 0°-06'-47" W along said West line a distance of
15    654.02 Feet to the point of beginning, excepting all the
16    coal, oil, gas and other minerals underlying the same and
17    all rights and easements in favor of the owner of the
18    mineral estate or of any party claiming by, through or
19    under said estate, situated in FRANKLIN COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
 
20    Section 10. The Director of Natural Resources shall
21prepare one or more quitclaim deeds to convey the real
22property. The Director may also record a certified copy of
23this Act. Each quitclaim deed shall reference this Act. All
24documents of conveyance shall be recorded in the county in
25which the land is located.

1    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
2becoming law.
