SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
235 ILCS 5/6-39 new

    Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that if a licensee has more than 800 persons at the licensed location at any time while is hosting live music, the licensee shall ensure that it has opioid antagonists available at the premises and that there a sufficient number of staff members on the premises who have been sufficiently trained on how to properly administer an opioid antagonist.

1    AN ACT concerning liquor.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
5adding Section 6-39 as follows:
 
6    (235 ILCS 5/6-39 new)
7    Sec. 6-39. Opioid antagonists on premises. If a licensee
